The circular blade on a saw has a diameter of 7.5 inches androtates at 2400 rpm.?

Find the angular speed (in radians x second) and find the linear speed of the saw teeth (in feet x second) as they contact the wood being cut.
Explain.

Since one revolution is 2pi radians you have 2400 * 2 * pi = 15080 radians/minute = 251.3 radians/second

The speed is rpm * radius * 2 * pi =
2400 * 7.5/2 * 2 * pi = 56549 inches/minute = 78.54 feet/sec.

Angular speed is 2400/60 = 40 rps one revolution is 2pi radians Therefore angular speed is 80pi radians per second
Circumference of saw blade is 7.5pi inches therefore linear speed is 7.5pi * 40 = 300pi inches / second

Using pi = 3.1415926

Angular speed is 251.3274123 radians per second
Linear speed is 942.4777961 inches per second
