Jeep tj front bumper on a JK?

I have on 08 Wrangler. I was looking to replace the front factory bumper with an off-road bumper. I have found one I like but it is for a 2001. I have some welding skills and a decent mig welder. How much of a mod would it be to make this fit? Is the frame spacing different between the 2? Will it interfere with the grille? What problems would I run into?
the air bag sensors aren’t located in the bumper and some of the bumpers I am interested in have crush cans to reduce the risk of early deployment. I am more concerned with what mods would need to be made.

one problem would be the airbag sensors before you start on anything else

I would sugest you grab a tape measure and find a TJ. Measure the distance between the holes (bumper mounts) in the frame and compare to your Jeep. I have installed TJ bumpers on YJ and CJ Jeeps, but I have not tried to do it to a JK
